Reviews and Ratings
My stay at this hotel was absolutely fabulous! The rooms are spacious and decorated in the most fab purple and maroon with feathers on the lamps, plush fainting couches, and flocked wallpaper, creating a cozy yet stylish ambiance. While the rooms get pretty dark, which I love, they were basic, and the bathroom was reasonable. The service was top-notch with friendly and smiling staff who were very helpful in arranging trips and purchasing tickets to various sites we wanted to visit. The location is just opposite the lake, providing a beautiful and pleasant setting for walks to the nearby city. The dining experience had a variety of Chinese and Western options that were satisfactory, although there were some minor issues like a lack of staff to clear tables promptly. Overall, a great choice for a stay in Guilin.
I had a delightful stay at the hotel! The rooms were spacious and decorated in THE MOST FAB purple and maroon with feathers on the lamps and plush fainting couches and flocked wallpaper, providing a lovely outlook overlooking the lake. The location was scenic and perfect for evening walks by the beautiful lake. However, I found the dining experience to be a bit sad with some queues at breakfast. The service was top class, and the facilities were excellent.
The hotel boasts large and comfortable rooms with balconies and marble bathrooms, offering a high standard of both quantity and quality. However, the room size is small. The service is top-notch, with staff being friendly and smiling, providing excellent assistance in arranging trips and purchasing tickets. The location is one of the hotel's standout features, just opposite a beautiful lake perfect for scenic walks and near various sites. Dining options feature a variety of Chinese and Western choices, satisfactory but with some service challenges. The facilities are considered on the sparse side.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were incredibly comfortable and quiet, with a great shower and strong WiFi. The hotel is conveniently located near reasonably priced shops. Everything I needed was right there. The service was top-notch, with attentive and helpful staff who went out of their way to assist in arranging trips and tickets to sites I wanted to visit. The location, just opposite the beautiful lake, was perfect for leisurely strolls, although a short walk or taxi ride was needed to reach the city center. The dining options, with a mix of Western and Chinese styles, were decent, although some menu items could be improved. Overall, a fantastic stay.
The hotel has well-equipped rooms with very comfortable beds and a good view. However, the balcony offered not much of a view, overlooking local housing at the back of the hotel. The service was excellent in arranging trips and purchasing tickets, although communication could be challenging due to limited English. The location is very good, right by one of the lakes with nearby bars and restaurants. The dining experience was average, offering both Western and Chinese options. The facilities were well-maintained with a few limitations.
The hotel offers a good selection of hot and cold foods in the rooms, which are spacious enough for a restful night. The balcony provides a nice touch, though the view is limited. The service is attentive and helpful, with opulent rooms and excellent food. The location is very good, near a lake and within walking distance of the central market. Dining options include both Western and Chinese restaurants. The facilities are top-notch, enhancing the overall stay.
The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, reminiscent of a luxurious cruise ship, though some areas feel a bit outdated. The service is attentive and helpful, catering to various needs, but communication in English may have limitations. The location, while a bit off-center, provides easy access to the man-made lake in Guilin. The dining experience, while separated for Chinese and Western cuisine, offers good quality food with limited options. Overall, the facilities are well-maintained despite some areas needing modernization.
My stay at the hotel was delightful! The rooms were light, airy, and kept very clean. The large, comfortable bed made my rest peaceful, and the good shower and strong WiFi were a bonus. However, the dining experience fell short of expectations. The attentive and helpful service, along with the spotless hotel, made my stay pleasant. The location was excellent for evening walks but required a bit of a walk or a taxi ride to reach the city center. The facilities were top-notch, though dining had room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was fabulous! The rooms were decorated in the most fabulous purple and maroon tones with feathers on the lamps, plush fainting couches, and flocked wallpaper, creating a cozy and luxurious atmosphere. The size of the room, the shower, and the bathroom were all ample, allowing for a relaxing beauty sleep with excellent air conditioning before embarking on the unforgettable cruise along the Li River to admire the breathtaking landscape resembling the famous Halong Bay in North Vietnam. The room was equipped with all the necessary amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. However, the view from the back of the hotel overlooking local housing was a minor drawback.
The hotel is situated in a lovely area of Guilin, right opposite a beautiful lake. The rooms are large and comfortable, ideal for a short stay, but not overly impressive. The service was a mix of helpfulness when arranging trips and confusion at times due to language barriers. Dining options were good with a varied selection, though some aspects could be improved. The location offers easy access to the central market and pedestrian streets, perfect for scenic walks, but the illuminations turn off early at 10 pm. The facilities provided are adequate for a pleasant stay.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms, though a bit overly decorated, were decent and the bathroom was reasonable. The atmosphere might get a bit dark, but I still enjoyed the comfort of the rooms. The service was impeccable, with friendly staff always ready to help, especially in organizing trips and purchasing tickets. The location was fantastic, near the beautiful man-made lake and within walking distance of the central market and city center. The dining experience was average, with good dishes but lacking in clearing tables promptly. The facilities were satisfactory, offering basic services.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location was fantastic, right by a beautiful lake in the center of Guilin. The rooms, though a bit outdated, had all the necessary amenities and were decorated in the most fab purple and maroon colors with unique feathered lamps and plush fainting couches. The service was top-notch, with staff being very cooperative and attentive, helping us arrange trips and providing excellent free toiletries. The dining experience was average, with good dishes but lacking in clearing tables promptly. Overall, a great value for money with excellent facilities and a lovely ambiance.
The hotel overlooks the lake, offering a scenic location. The rooms, though not overly impressive, are suitable for a night stopover. The staff were very helpful in arranging trips and purchasing tickets to various sites we wanted to visit, speaking little English but making it work. The location, though right across from a nice lake, is a bit away from the town center. The dining experience is good with both Western and Chinese restaurants. Overall, it's a decent option for a short stay.
I had a delightful stay at this hotel with spacious rooms decorated in the most fabulous purple and maroon colors, complete with feathers on the lamps, plush fainting couches, and lovely flocked wallpaper. The location, just opposite the beautiful lake, was perfect for evening strolls, though a bit of a walk or taxi ride to the city center. The variety of dining options, including Chinese and Western cuisines, was satisfactory but limited in mixing choices.
I found the hotel to be a comfortable and quiet place for a night stopover, although it could use some modernization. The shower was good, and the WiFi signal was strong. The service was attentive and helpful, with excellent assistance in English for arranging trips and tickets. The location was very good, right by a beautiful lake and within walking distance of the central market and pedestrian streets.
